What's the best way to clean fruit?

like you know at the market they have that spray bottle. But is there a way to make my own mix?? I%26#039;m going to make fruit baskets for gifts and I want to polish the apples really good, I want them soo shiny.

What%26#039;s the best way to clean fruit?
Use the fruit cleaner you can find in the fruit isle. The mix is the best way to go.

Coach
Reply:just normal water , but wash them very well with your hands.

nothing compare with clean water
Reply:For a healthy alternative to the waxes, oils and glycerin used by commercial packers and zealous markets, clean your fruit with a solution of vinegar and water, and wipe with ...

...mayonnaise.

A dab%26#039;ll do ya, and your apples and oranges will shine like a new car!

Many professional plant services use mayo on the leaves of palms and other indoor plants to make them shine as well! Safe for kids, pets, and you!

Best wishes!
Reply:Keep in mind there is wax on store bought apples that make them shiny, so polishing then too much may actually make them look dull. Take 1 part lemon juice and 3 parts water. and use a clean wite hand towel to clean fruits.
Reply:A SPRAY BOTTLE WITH A MIX OF WATER AND VINEGAR WILL GET THEM CLEAN... I DON%26#039;T THINK IT WILL HELP WITH THE SHINY PART..
Reply:10% vinegar 90% water. Or 10% lemon juice 90% water. Put in your own spray bottle. Wipe dry with soft cloth.

In grocery stores, they put wax or vegetable oil in fruits and veg to make them shine. YUCK.
